Welcome!

Welcome to Kristi Balding's Music Studio website! Whether you are new to the studio, a current student or parent of a student, you will find all of the information you need right here at your fingertips!

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kristi K Balding. I have been teaching in Michigan since 1992.  I love children (and adults!) and love music--so teaching music is perfect for me!  I have a B.S. in Music with emphasis in vocal performance and piano proficiency. I teach piano, voice and all of the woodwind instruments.  I provide opportunities for students to share their musical talents with other students, family and friends on special occasions during the year.  Students also have the opportunity to be measured against a standard of excellence each spring.  My students are enthusiastic to show how they are p rogressing.  I am truly blessed to be able to share this wonderful gift of music.

You will see that my studio is professionally run.  Teaching is my passion and is not just a little hobby I do on the side.  This is my life and I love it!  I try to share the pure enjoyment of music with each of my students and help them to understand that their musical gift is worth sharing at every level of their development.  My students learn well, perform with excellence, and have FUN while doing it!

Private weekly lessons at Kristi Balding's Music Studio are usually 30 minutes long. Students may enroll for lessons in Piano, Voice and Woodwinds (flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, recorder, and more!)

If you would like more information, please look through the pages on this website, then contact Miss Kristi through the "Contact Us" page.

You may enjoy playing the interactive piano on this website, but the ivory grand piano in the studio is even more spectacular for making great music!

As God has created music as

a language of the soul, I

believe every human being

--whether gifted or challenged--

can benefit from music experience

via private lessons.

I tailor music lessons to the

individual's learning styles,

physical and cognitive

capabilities, age and

development.

Ask me about lessons for

specially capable musicians,

including those that are hard

of hearing, visually impaired,

ADD/ADHD or autistic.
