AKC Beagle Breeder in Waterford, MI

We breed beagle puppies for hunting, show or pets. Our beagles are bred to closely meet the breed standard. Our goal is to produce a well-balanced dog that will be able to participate successfully in Field and Show. We also desire to produce a dog that will be able to become an integral part of your family as a pet and companion.

My three dogs are a part of our family. While they have a crate or kennel, they are rarely ever shut up in it. They are welcome in most rooms of the house and would be found sitting on the couch nearby or lying on the lap of a family member. They are loved and hugged and given a special place in our hearts and our home. My puppies are always extremely well socialized. I teach music lessons as my primary source of income for my home. I have nearly 60 lessons a week. When we have puppies in the house, they are greeted and loved by someone new every 30 minutes! When my 2-year-old niece comes to visit, she gently adores them.

My oldest female, Dixie, has several Field Champions in her bloodline. My male, Vinnie, is a Canadian show champ (prior to my owning him) and has field champs in his pedigree as well. Both are gorgeous tri-color with classic beagle markings. Our youngest female is a puppy from our 3rd litter. We named her Melody's Clair de Lune (light of the moon) because of the extra bright white markings she has. They make complete our happy family.

You may be looking for a puppy to raise just as a pet. You might wonder why you should buy an AKC registered beagle if you are just going to spay or neuter it anyway. The answer is clear. A responsible breeder makes certain that their dogs are good representation of the breed standard. A responsible breeder has followed through to make sure that the animals used to produce a litter are healthy and that there are no known genetic diseases. You are going to adopt this puppy as a member of your family. You want to choose a dog that will be healthy enough to share your life for many years. I am a breeder who loves her dogs and her puppies (they are my "grand-puppies!") and only wants the best for them. Our puppies come with a health guarantee and their shots. They are periodically tested for worms and parasites, but we have never had to deworm any of our puppy litters to date, as they have always tested parasite free. We would deworm the puppies should they ever test positive. Each puppy comes with a health exam and shot(s) record when you purchase the puppy so that you can take it to your veterinarian of choice and the new doctor will know exactly what they have received and when they received it.

If this is the quality of puppy you would like to provide a safe and loving home for, please call me at 248/673-0747 or email me through my contact page. I will look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,
